Broken
There are times in our lives when we will find ourselves truly broken. In body, in mind and/or in spirit. In these times God's word reminds us that He is still there for us.
Psalm 51 is important to study at this time. In part in says "(1)Have mercy on me, O God, according to your unfailing love;according to your great compassion blot out my transgressions.(2) Wash away all my iniquity and cleanse me from my sin."
Later in the passage is clarifies sacrifice, "(16)You do not delight in sacrifice, or I would bring it; you do not take pleasure in burnt offerings.(17)My sacrifice, O God, is a broken spirit; a broken and remorseful heart you, God, will not despise."
Glory to you Almighty God, Jehovah Jireh, my provider.
