Our path comes with it's share of hard knocks, dark times, and negative atmospheres. So, sometimes we have to take a breath and remember God's promises. He said we would be persecuted for His name's sake and that following Him would not be easy, for if they hated Him, they will hate us also.
But the reward is great indeed, blessed are those who are persecuted for seeking righteousness. Not just in the after life, but in the here and now as a child of God.
So to quote a song I like...
"The steps we take are no easy road, but the reward is great for those who want to go."

I pray that the followers of your newfound image embrace you as I have as a friend.
You have always been articulate in your writings, and in your ministry I am sure it will be enveloped with love, compassion and truth.
